Women

“Perhaps , women were born kneeling,
No one really cares for what we’re feeling,
we’re always told to be vigilant,
& scared of people in the world,
if we say,
We speak our minds too much,
we are expected to be accommodating, considerate, & benevolent,
bowed head & lowered eyes ,
is this the purpose of being alive”
